The most meaningful work I've done as CEO of Safety Fry
Hi [Client name],
I shared some industry-insider tips with you last week for fryer clean up. I hope the advice helps make that grueling job easier!
This week, I want to share a note I received recently from a special client in New Orleans. But before I get to the note, I want to let you know that the work I did with this client was the most rewarding work I've done since I've been CEO of Safety Fry.
I had the privilege of helping Bon Andouille open its doors after it was destroyed in the Katrina disaster. Here’s the note:
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for helping us open Bon Andouille again.
You see, I believe there are business people, and then there are great humans who happen to be in business. You, of course, fall into the last category.
As we neared the 10-year mark after Katrina, it was time to get Bon Andouille going again. A friend told me about Safety Fry, but I didn’t even have fryers. I certainly didn’t need protective fryer covers! I called anyway.
When I told you our story (and how I wasn’t sure why I was calling), you listened to us and talked to us about our plans for the restaurant. You offered suggestions and made some phone calls. With your help, we got Bon Andouille up and running.
So, from the bottom of my heart, I say “thank you.” Just know, there will always be a table ready for you at Bon Andouille.
Lou and Nancy Richard
P.S. The Safety Fry fryer covers are great. Our cooks love them.
Here’s the thing, it takes little effort to help someone, especially when you have connections who are willing to jump in and lend a hand. I will be eternally grateful to my business friends who stepped up to help the Richards.
That’s why I love what I do. I created Safety Fry to help restaurants keep their staff safe around hot fryers. In fact, I'll be in touch next week with a shocking "hot-oil" story -- a preventable tale. Stay tuned!
